About AAREB

The Alabama Association of Real Estate Brokers (AAREB) champions the interests of African American real estate professionals, consumers, and communities throughout Alabama. With active local boards in Mobile, Montgomery, Auburn/Opelika, Birmingham, and Huntsville, AAREB is deeply rooted in the state's real estate landscape. Known as "Realtists," our members have been at the forefront of advancing legislation, developing innovative products and services, and driving change that benefits not only our communities and underserved populations—but the real estate industry as a whole. Since the founding of our national organization, NAREB, in 1947, AAREB has proudly carried the torch of advocacy, equity, and excellence.
