AAREB - Alabama Association Of Real Estate Brokers

About the Alabama Association of Real Estate Brokers (AAREB)

The Alabama Association of Real Estate Brokers (AAREB) is the proud state chapter of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), an organization founded in 1947 in Tampa, Florida. NAREB was established to champion equal opportunity and serve as a civil rights voice for African American real estate professionals, consumers, and communities across the U.S.

While our roots are grounded in civil rights, today our focus is laser-sharp on economic empowerment and expanding opportunities for Black real estate professionals and the communities we serve. Though predominantly African American, the REALTIST® movement welcomes all committed real estate practitioners who align with our core mission: “Democracy in Housing.”
